Late summer trading is usually a ‘thin’ market meaning much lower volume. Hey, if I were a broker I’d take the month of August off too. Time to be on the boat all the retail amateur scalpers paid for.
Break on Through to the Other Side
This drop and bounce gave both a win down and a win up. I got a little sleepy as this was the Globex session. The bounce came after Tokyo opened. Had my trailing stop way too far away. After leaving so much money on the table, I quickly decided (using indicators and shorter time frames) to re enter long . Took that position off on the first red candle. Again leaving money on the table but you know… greed will kill ya’ if you’re not careful. Happy with the $800+ in each direction. Makes up for some stupid range bound trades earlier in August. @TraderDick1
